First established in 1981, PT. Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia is a joint venture shared by PT. Astra Otoparts Tbk. and Akebono Brake Industry Co., Ltd. (Japan).
As a specialized manufacturer of brakes, PT. Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia offers products for various applications including automobiles and motorcycles.
Akebono operates in 10 countries around the world including facilities in Southeast Asia, Eastern Asia, North America, and Europe. Through our global operations, our business and products reach customers around the world.
To further strengthen and expand our motorcycle business, PT. Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia established a facility in Hanoi, Vietnam, in November 2011 in partnership with Akebono Brake Industry Co., Ltd. and PT. Otoparts Tbk.
