PT Bakrie Metal Industries (BMI) started its steel pipe manufacturing business in 1959 under the name “Talang Tirta”, it originally produces multi-function conduit pipe. In 1984 the company expanded its business to fabrication service, which specialty is in corrugated steel and bridge. In 1985 BMI entered the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, & Construction) business supported by its heavy industrial steel fabrication facility in Sumunraja, Banten. Today BMI is well known for its high quality steel pipes (Oil & gas pipes, and multi-function pipes) and nationally acclaimed throughout the nation as EPC and fabrication expert.
PT Bakrie Metal Industries requires employees for the following positions:
1. Structure Engineer (code:STRENG22)
Requirement :
- S-1 Civil especially Bridge Engineer
- Experience in the same position min. 1 years
- Having knowledge about Steel Structure
- Able to operate STAAD PRO & SAP 2000
2. Welding Engineer (code:WLDNGENG22)
Requirement :
- S-1 Metallurgi / Machine
- Experience in the same position min. 2 years
- Able to provide welding method & procedure
- Able to make welding MAP, NDR Plan, WPS, PQR testing mechanical, chemical & others
3. Nesting Engineer (code:NSTENG22)
Requirement :
- D3 Industrial Engineer
- Experience in the same position min. 1 years
- Able to operate Autocad
- Having knowledge related to estimating materials for bridges/construction
- Understand the process of nestiry & cutting plan
